VinFast VF6 Launched Without Ceremony in Indonesia, Starts at IDR 384M

VinFast has launched its new electric car, VF6, quietly without any ceremony. The VF6 comes in two models—Eco and Plus—and is targeted at providing an affordable electric vehicle alternative in Indonesia.

Pricing and Offers

• VinFast VF6 Eco: IDR 384.995 million
• VinFast VF6 Plus: IDR 439.6 million

Consumers who place an order early will receive their cars in June 2025. Additionally, early buyers who place their orders before June 30, 2025 will enjoy a cashback offer of IDR 20 million.

Vinfast is to provide a 7 year or 160,000 km warranty which ever comes first for the VF6 in addition they are also including an 8 year battery warranty which has no mileage restriction. Also as a special offer until March 1, 2028 buyers will get free charge at VinFast’s V-Green stations. Also with each VF6 purchase you will get an accessory package valued at IDR 13.3 million.

Trade-in and Buyback Program

VinFast also launched a vehicle trade-in and buyback program applicable to all models, including the VF3, VF5, VF e34, and VF6. Consumers can trade in their old vehicles or sell them to VinFast after an inspection. The buyback program offers competitive returns:

• 90% after 6 months
• 86% after 1 year
• 78% after 2 years
• 70% after 3 years

VinFast VF6 Specifications

• Dimensions: 4,241 mm length, 1,834 mm width, 1,580 mm height, with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm.
• Motor & Performance
  • Eco Variant: 130 kW (174 hp) motor, 250 Nm torque, offering a range of 480 km on a full charge (NEDC cycle).
  • Plus Variant: 150 kW (201 hp) motor, 310 Nm torque, offering a range of 460 km (NEDC cycle).

Advanced Features

The VF6 comes equipped with Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), offering 21 features, including:

• Adaptive cruise control
• Auto lane change assist
• Highway driving assist
• Traffic jam assist
• Automatic emergency braking
• Rear cross-traffic alert
• Blind spot detection
• 360-degree camera

Other features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen head unit and 18 customizable driving modes tailored to user preferences.
