Hyundai Indonesia has just dropped a new teaser on its official Instagram account, @hyundaimotorindonesia. The teaser, posted on Friday (30 May 2025), is an image that shows the front silhouette of a vehicle resembling the most recent generation of the Hyundai Palisade, which appears to suggest a launch date is coming very soon in Indonesia.
From the teaser, we can spot a vertical grille design and stacked headlights, similar to the facelifted Palisade already available in global markets. Hyundai added the caption “It’s almost in sight”, suggesting the model’s debut is imminent.

Listed on Samsat Website, Orders Now Open
Interestingly, the Palisade Hybrid has already appeared on the Jakarta Samsat PKB website, with its NJKB (Nilai Jual Kendaraan Bermotor) ranging from Rp 476 million to Rp 530 million. This gives a rough hint at the potential price range once it hits the market officially.
Several Hyundai dealers in Indonesia have also started accepting pre-orders. Customers can now secure the upcoming SUV by placing a booking fee of Rp 10 million.
Hybrid Engine Brings Major Upgrade
One of the most exciting upgrades in the new Palisade is its hybrid powertrain. Currently in Indonesia, the Palisade is only offered with a 2.2L turbo diesel engine. However, the hybrid version available globally comes with a 2.5L T-GDI engine paired with an electric motor.
The combined output reaches up to:
- 262 PS (258 HP)
- 353 Nm torque
- The electric motor alone produces 72 HP (54 kW)
- Driving range: Up to 1,015 km on a full tank, according to Hyundai

- e-Dynamic Drive: Helps improve handling and agility by managing torque to each wheel depending on road grip
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Includes a household plug in the trunk to power devices when camping or during emergencies
