A More Efficient and Powerful Hybrid System

The new hybrid system we see as a major step forward in terms of performance and efficiency which we see over Hyundai’s present hybrid tech. At the core of this is a which we report to be a brand new transmission that we see to have 2 drive motors in it which play key roles.
- Regenerative Motor: This component is designed for regenerative which we report to be during the act of driving and braking which in turn helps to capture energy and improve efficiency.
- Starter Generator Motor: This motor not only starts the engine but also puts out power to assist the vehicle’s performance.
This parallel motor structure what we see to do is enhance fuel economy, see to smooth out gear shifts and at the same time reduce noise and vibration for a more comfortable ride.
Increased Torque Capacity and Compact Design
One of the best aspects of the new hybrid transmission is that it has seen a 25% increase in torque capacity which in turn makes it a great fit for high capacity turbo charged engines. Although we have see improvements in this transmission’s performance we have also maintained its small size which in turn allows us to use it in a large variety of vehicle segments.

Hybrid Technology from Hyundai
The first out fit of Hyundai’s new hybrid tech is there 2.5L turbo hybrid engine. We re engineered this engine to improve thermal efficiency by doing away with traditional components like the main belt, alt generator and AC compressor. That which in turn helps to reduce energy losses.
We also see a great innovation in this engine which is the use of an over expansion cycle that delays the intake valve closure. What this does is improve combustion efficiency for better performance and reduced emissions.
Further Enhancements for Better Performance
Additional improvements to the engine include redesigned piston shapes and a three-stage fuel injection system. These changes boost power output, improve fuel economy, and reduce engine knock, making the engine both efficient and smooth.
Significant Improvements in Fuel Efficiency and Power
Hyundai has introduced a new hybrid system which reports an impressive 45% improvement in fuel efficiency and 19% in max power as compared to what we see in traditional engines. For the 1.6L turbo hybrid engine which is to fit in medium sized SUVs that we see today the fuel efficiency see an improvement of about 4.3%. Also the update does better in terms of performance which we see from the improved Active Shift Control.

Wide and Powerful Hybrid Range
Hyundai is to put this advanced hybrid transmission into a range of engines which will in turn create a wide output range. This tech will go into everything from small cars up to luxury vehicles which will see outputs from over 100 hp to mid 300 hp. The new Hyundai Palisade will be the first car to see this very latest hybrid system.
With these improvements Hyundai is to maintain its promise of bringing to market better performing, more efficient and environment friendly vehicles in the future.
