Great Wall Motor (GWM) reports that they will soon be bringing the Ora electric vehicle (EV) brand to the Indonesian market. This is after at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which they attended to display their Haval and Tank models.
Great Wall Motor (GWM) is a parent company which includes under it the brands Haval, Wey, Ora, Tank, and GWM Pickup. Which they have designed to play in different segments of the auto market from SUV’s to luxury to electrics and pickups.
Also that which up to this point has not seen the light in Indonesia is the Ora brand which is dedicated to electric cars. But which will see the light very soon according to Lisa Wijaya, Sales and Network Director of GWM Indonesia.

Key Details About the GWM Ora 03
At GIIAS 2023 the Ora 03 made its debut which also went by the name of Ora Good Cat. Also to hit the market in 2025 at Auto Shanghai will be the Ora 07, Ora 03 GT and the Ballet Cat. Here is the low down on the Ora 03:
- Design
- The Ora 03 has a modern take on the retro design which puts together classic elements with what is seen in today’s EV tech.
- In terms of size it measures in at 4,235 mm in length, 1,825 mm wide, 1,596 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2.650 mm which despite it’s small package still offers great internal space.
- Performance
- Powered by an electric motor producing 143 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque.
- Also it comes with a 48 kWh battery which reports a range of up to 308 km on a full charge.
- 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 8.3 seconds.
- Safety Features
- Dual pretensioner seat belts and air bags for better passenger safety.
- Also has Advanced Driver Assistance Systems which includes features like Blind Spot Detection, Front Collision Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The Ora 03 with its retro design, great performance and advanced safety tech is to put up a good fight in the electric vehicle game in Indonesia.
