Tangerang – PT Exelly Elektrik Indonesia (Voltron Indonesia) has launched Indonesia’s first 360 kW DC public electric vehicle charging station (SPKLU) at Living World Alam Sutera, Tangerang. This is a big step in improving EV charging and making it easier for people to use electric cars.

Fast Charging Technology
The 360 kW DC charger can charge an EV up to 80% in less than 20 minutes. This makes EV charging faster and more convenient. The station has three charging machines, each with two CCS2 guns, so multiple cars can charge at the same time.
Helping Indonesia Reach Green Energy Goals
Abdul Rahman Elly, Founder and CEO of Voltron Indonesia, said this charger will help solve charging problems and make electric cars more popular in Indonesia.
“Energy transition is not just a trend, but a necessity for Indonesia to reach the Net Zero Emissions target. Voltron aims to offer fast and convenient charging solutions to encourage more individuals to transition to EVs,” stated Elly on Tuesday (25/2/2025) during the launch.
He explained that with a speed of 360 kW, EV users will be able to charge and save time, hence making electric vehicles more convenient to use on a daily basis.

Expanding Charging Stations
This 360 kW charger is part of Voltron’s plan to build a large charging network. The company plans to open 50 charging stations across Indonesia, mainly in Jabodetabek. The goal is to make charging easy and stress-free for EV users.
“We want to make sure that charging an EV is no longer a problem. With this Hyper Fast Charger, Indonesia’s EV market will grow, and more investors will join the green transportation movement,” said Elly.

Charging Cost and Benefits
The cost to charge at this hyper fast station is IDR 3,600 per kWh. This price is meant to make EV charging affordable and encourage more people to use electric cars.
