JAKARTA, 2025 — MG Motor Indonesia continues to make a strong mark in the Indonesian auto market with impressive performances at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). Throughout the 11-day event, MG surpasses expectations in customer interest and vehicle bookings, along with receiving high-profile awards for their booth design.

A Strong Rise of Visitor Interest and Reservations Increasing
The success of MG at IIMS 2025 is seen in a rising crowd of visitors who literally surrounded their booth this year, suggesting an intense interest in the brand. They also reported strong rush of orders, exceeding over half a thousand sign commitments called SPKs. Out of these, around 60% filled up for MG 4 EV reflecting exciting growth in demand for electric vehicles in Indonesia too. Another 20% of orders were for MG ZS EV while the rest spread across other models.

MG Wins ‘Best Booth Car’ Award at IIMS 2025
Besides staggering sales figures, MG also took home the Best Booth Car award during IIMS 2025 in the booth category for areas under 700 m². The booth, placed at Hall A of JIEXPO Kemayoran, caught everyone’s eye with its sporty, sophisticated, and futuristic appearance, garnering significant interest from event visitors.
At the show this year, MG had special exhibitions on offer, among which were the MG4 EV XPower, which wore distinctive livery marking MG’s global partnership with Arsenal as the Official Automotive Partner. The MG Cyberster, a world-exclusive electric roadster, was the second major showstopper and had visitors agog with wonder over its futuristic styling and ingenuity.

A Thrilling Test Drive Experience
Visitors also got an opportunity to drive MG’s cars at first hand by availing themselves of the test drive offer. Scores of visitors made the most of the option to try the performance of highly sought-after cars such as the MG4 EV and MG ZS EV in the exclusive test drive area. MG donated six units of its cars so that the customers had the best possible driving experience.

To further promote the attractiveness of their electric vehicle models, MG launched the MG 123 Special Promo at IIMS 2025. The special promo provided thrilling advantages to customers buying EVs.
