What Chery planning to do in a span of five years 2025
PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is also committed to expanding its dealer network in 2025 with a goal of over 80 nationwide. Chery has 52 dealer networks in there now, which means they are aiming to grow their volume of dealerships by approximately 28 dealers this year. This growth will be to improve after sales services as well so that it become easy for the users to get in original spare parts and maintained.
Beyond The Major Cities
Mohamad Ilham Pratama, Head of Marketing at PT Chery Sales Indonesia, says the company is expanding to second cities in the target areas as well as aiming big cities.
At a Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) event, Ilham observed that the second city’s market has much promise.
As a case in point for Surabaya region, Chery intends to penetrate Sidoharjo, Malang, Gersik, and Kediri. Likewise, in Jabodetabek, Serang, Banten offers significant possibilities. Increasing access in expanding urban centers helps this strategic move to appeal to more customers.

In order to expand Eastern Indonesia
Chery is not limited to extending its market into Java and its adjacent territories. They will fly further, with Papua being the area of concentration.
“There is already a market in Papua such as Sorong that we are in the process of treating, because there are people there interested in taking (buying cars) in Manado and Makassar,” Ilham explained.
This is the approach that shows Chery’s commitment to face different demands of Indonesian customers wherever they are.
