BYD Motor Helds Mall To Mall Exhibitions in Makassar, Indonesia

PT BYD Motor Indonesia reiterated its commitment to sustainable mobility with a special mall-to-mall exhibition at Trans Studio Mall, Makassar, from 30th October to 3rd November 2024. This five-day exhibition aimed at introducing the people of Makassar to BYD‘s range of eco-friendly vehicles, which included some of its flagship models like the BYD Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal, and MPV BYD M6. BYD’s macro strategy is tied to the encouragement of green mobility alternative in high-potential markets, particularly in Eastern Indonesia.

Through this exhibition, we not only want to introduce superior BYD vehicle products to the public, but also support our commitment to provide closer services to people in various cities.

Promotion of Environment Friendly Mobility in Makassar

In his official statement on Friday, 1st October, Luther Panjaitan, head of PR & government relations of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, noted: “Through this exhibition, we not only want to introduce superior BYD vehicle products to the public, but also support our commitment to providing closer services to people in various cities.” The event is part of the continued efforts of BYD to bring advanced electric vehicle technology closer to more consumers across the country.

BYD chose Makassar as its location due to the high potential in using green technology in this city. The exhibition reveals the vision of the brand, which is building sustainable transportation systems suitable to the Indonesian environmental standards.

Cultural Appreciation through Design

A 400-square-meter exhibition booth designed with great care that reflects the richness of the cultural heritage of Makassar, ornamented with visual accents inspired by elements of the locality, a reflection of the appreciation that BYD has toward the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia. This gave the event its unique cultural touch through thoughtful setting up to show off BYD technology in a celebratory environment for the visitor’s local identity.

Presentation of Innovative Vehicle Ranges

At the exhibition, BYD displayed seven cars in varied colors and designs that match the taste of modern Indonesian families. The models featured at the show were the following:

• BYD Dolphin Premium: The hatchback was available in Atlantis Gray and Sky White. The seal performance and byd premium seal sports sedan were introduced in two designs, cosmose black with aurora white, and showed off these cars with real luxury car feel through sporty selections.
• BYD Atto 3: BYD Atto 3 is a dynamic SUV was offered on Surf blue and Boulder Grey and produced bright and contemporary aesthetics.
• BYD M6 Superior Captain Seat Crystal White premium MPV variant is designed with complete comfort in mind for Indonesian families.

The colorful options and arrangements allowed the guests to see the different models adapted to different tastes and lifestyles. BYD also presented four models up for test drive, which included the BYD Seal, Atto 3, Dolphin, and BYD M6. This way, the guests were able to experience the blast battery technology of BYD, which was guaranteed to be reliable, secure, and comfortable.
