Jakarta – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, BNI for short, and emerging EV leader VinFast signed a Memorandum of Understanding today to promote mobility that is green and sustainable here in Indonesia. Both parties also want to affirm and expand their investments and cooperation financially.

BNI’s Commitment to Sustainability
BNI Wholesale and International Banking Director Agung Prabowo stated that BNI is dedicated to supporting green initiatives, environmentally friendly solutions, and sustainable development.
“We believe this partnership will not only create strategic business opportunities but also strengthen the long-term relationship between Indonesia and Vietnam. Additionally, it will contribute to economic and social prosperity,” Agung said in a press release on Tuesday, March 11.
Through this collaboration, BNI will provide consultation, share its experience and local insights, and offer access to transactional banking services for VinFast and other companies in the Vingroup ecosystem.

Promoting Green Mobility in Indonesia
Under the deal, BNI will help VinFast expand its footprint in Indonesia by providing financial services and backing VinFast’s business partners engaged in green mobility and infrastructure development. The partnership will ensure compliance with local regulations and market conditions.

VinFast Asia Chief Executive Pham Sanh Chau underscored the company’s determination to facilitate the shift to electric vehicles for Indonesian customers.
