Also as a result of which Arcfox has positioned themselves in the premium segment of the electric vehicle market.
Plans for the Indonesian Market
Dhani Yahya, BAIC Indonesia Chief Operating Officer, disclosed that the company is planning to introduce Arcfox electric vehicles to Indonesia. But whether to introduce the Arcfox brand as it stands, or to rename it under the BAIC brand, will be based on the reactions of consumers and market demand in the country.
The company is currently considering introducing a 7-seater Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV). MPVs are a favorite of Indonesia, so they would be an appealing choice for BAIC’s market movement. It is also possible that a small MPV hatchback can be introduced, targeting customers seeking small yet practical cars.
