BAIC Indonesia has launched the updated X55 II facelift officially with a lower price tag than before. The newest generation of the popular medium-size SUV is on sale now from IDR 300 million, far cheaper than its predecessor.

The X55 II facelift was unveiled on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Alam Sutera BAIC headquarters, Tangerang. The new model comes in two forms: Lite and Prime, which is one more option than the previous one.
- X55 II Lite Variant: IDR 380 million (OTR Jakarta)
- X55 II Prime Variant: IDR 429 million (OTR Jakarta)
This is a significant reduction in pricing from the original X55 II, which was priced at IDR 487 million when it made its debut at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Major Updates in the X55 II Facelift

Slight Changes Between Variants
Although the overall design and engine is the same as the old model, there are certain differences between the Lite and Prime models. The Lite model has more low-key specifications like lower rims and fewer options to make it an easier and cost-effective choice for consumers.

- Free Service Maintenance: 4 years or 80,000 km (whichever comes first).
