PT Aion Indomobil Distribution Indonesia has officially started the local assembly of the GAC Aion brand. The assembly of the Aion V electric SUV is taking place at PT National Assemblers’ plant, a significant step for Aion Indonesia.

Aion V: Smart Electric SUV Designed for Performance and Comfort
The Aion V is a smart electric SUV designed for performance, comfort, and technology. Aion certainly has a major offer into the Indonesian market through this offering, and is now further enhanced by local assembly, which helps improve availability and creates significantly lower waiting times for customers.
More Than 500 Units Ready for Distribution
Since early June 2025, Aion Indonesia has started delivering locally assembled Aion V units to customers. Over 500 units are ready for distribution this month, highlighting the brand’s growing presence in Indonesia.
Two Variants Offered: Exclusive and Luxury
The Aion V is available in two variants for the Indonesian market:
- Aion V Exclusive priced at IDR 449 million (on-the-road Jakarta)
- Aion V Luxury priced at IDR 489 million (on-the-road Jakarta)
Both variants offer competitive features and advantages in the electric SUV segment.

Impressive Range and Advanced Features
The Aion’s V electric model provides a driving range of up to 500 to 600 kilometers with a full charge (depending on the model variants respectively) and the driving conditions. The Aion V has a panoramic roof as well to further enhance the feeling of space and comfort in the cabin.
The SUV also features AI-enabled smart technology systems that further enhance the driving experience as well as manage the vehicle.
Total Safety with ADAS Level 2.0
Safety is very important for Aion V as it is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2.0 including:
- ADiGO smart driving system
- Lane-keeping assist
- Lane departure warning
- Automatic emergency braking
These features provide increased safety and convenience for drivers and passengers.
Unique Refrigerator Feature
One standout feature in the Aion V is the built-in refrigerator with three temperature modes:
- Freezing mode (down to -15°C)
- Cooling mode
- Heating mode (up to 50°C)
This innovative addition adds practical value and convenience for users on the go.
