Wuling Motors once again proved its strong presence in Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) market by dominating sales at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. Held from April 29 to May 4 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, the event saw Wuling securing an impressive 282 Vehicle Order Letters (SPK), driven mainly by the popularity of the Air EV and Binguo EV models.

Air EV and Binguo EV Top the Sales Chart

In an official statement on May 6, 2025, Wuling Motors announced that the Air EV contributed 40% of total orders, while the Binguo EV followed closely with 36%. The Cloud EV accounted for the remaining 24%, showing a balanced interest across their EV lineup.
This year’s performance marks a 12% increase in SPK compared to PEVS 2024. This growth reflects the rising demand and consumer confidence in Wuling’s electric car offerings.

High Enthusiasm for Test Drives

In addition to strong sales, Wuling also received a warm response from visitors during the event. A total of 337 people participated in test drives, with the Cloud EV becoming the most tested model:

Wuling’s EV Van Makes a Debut

Wuling also used the opportunity at PEVS 2025 to showcase a new electric van prototype, expected to target the electric commercial vehicle segment. While details remain limited, the vehicle is rumored to launch later this year, expanding Wuling’s EV range beyond passenger cars.
