The Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025 will be held from April 29 to May 4, 2025, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Hosted by the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO) in partnership with Asiabike Jakarta (ABJ), the event seeks to drive electric vehicle (EV) adoption and encourage sustainable mobility in Indonesia.

Government Support and Positive Momentum
Moeldoko, the Chairman of PERIKLINDO, emphasized that there are no challenges but rather opportunities in Indonesia’s growing EV market.
“Because the market is very large in Indonesia, and the government provides access and convenience, I think all of this supports investment. I am sure that the 4th PEVS will be even better,” said Moeldoko.
The Indonesian Government is actively encouraging EV adoption through multiple policies, including a 10% Government Borne Value Added Tax (PPN DTP) discount, reducing VAT on EV purchases to just 2%. Beyond fiscal incentives, the government is also expanding the network of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in key strategic areas to support the growing number of EV users.

PEVS 2025 Transaction Target and Visitor Objectives

Daswar Marpaung, Dyandra Promosindo President Director, said Indonesia’s EV industry is growing positively. To keep it going, PEVS 2025 should serve as a reference for the development of the electric vehicle business while still putting a high level of environmental sustainability as a priority.
Together with ABJ, PEVS 2025 aims to achieve a transaction value of Rp 400 billion and 40,000 visitors. Daswar expressed his confidence that the target can be met with the rising public interest in electric vehicles throughout Indonesia.
