Our vision is to cater to the evolving needs of Indonesian riders by introducing performance and electric options that are in line with future mobility trends.

Others in the pipeline with a new sports bike, an electric motorbike targeting the growing desire for performance together with environmental-friendly bikes are some of the new gen models that the company will roll out. Diversification of what is offered is one of the approaches that the company may take, and such an aggressive fight over this two-wheeler segment will be a wonderful impression left upon other competitors.
2025 Line-up from TVS
Two models are in pipeline to be launched with two promise types of the future of mobility, and there’s one that is sporty with performance, and then there’s another one that’s purely eco-friendly commuting. Teaser to the Future of TVS
During the event, Ryan Rahadian appears to have shared minute details of two models that are going to be launched. Quoting him, “For 2025, we could not reveal the details, but what is sure is that there are two categories namely new sports and electric motorcycles.” This shows the commitment of TVS to address diverse market needs — both high-performance enthusiasts and those on their way to sustainable mobility.
During the event of 2024 IMOS that happened on October 30, one of those new models will see its debut for TVS. The head honcho also mentioned, “Bakal ada satu line up model yang kita akan showcasing di IMOS, meluncurnya belum tahun ini tapi tahun depan,” that is to say, it is an exclusive preview during the event, but it’s still not confirmed if that was the sports bike or the electric motorcycle.
Growing the base for TVS in Indonesia
The Indian two-wheeler maker has already built sizable distribution networks in the Indonesian market, with a myriad of models that have managed to carve out a loyal customer base. TVS offers the Callisto 110, the TVS iQube S electric scooter, and the TVS Ronin Nimbus.
The TVS Ronin Nimbus: A Hero in the Marketplace
Of the models above, the TVS Ronin Nimbus assumes an all the more significance due to the retro-modern appeal. Generally, this unit sells at around IDR 41 million and has been one of the most sought-after motors in town due to its combination of style and performance. On the mechanical side, it mounts a 225.9 cc single-cylinder engine with injection technology, producing 20.4 PS at 7,750 RPM and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3,750 RPM. The five-speed manual transmission provides an attractive combination of old-school charm and modern performance.
The iQube S electric scooter is also doing all the right things in the burgeoning electric vehicle market of Indonesia. As the shift into electric mobility continues, TVS seems to be placing bets on the electrification of its portfolio to bank on market share in Indonesia’s rapidly transforming transport landscape.
Vision for TVS Motor in Indonesia
Strategically diversifying the product portfolio to diverse market segments, an attempt by TVS Motor Indonesia brings a new sports bike into the market, marrying performance and style with after sales in hopes of striking onto the enthusiast segment. The new electric motorcycle is well aligned with what the government is looking at in terms of energy for an environment-conscious consumer base.
Strategic TVS move in 2025
Thus, in 2025, the launch of a sports bike and an electric motorcycle is indicative of the real intent behind the competitive ambitions of launching models with diverse customer requirements. Whereas the erstwhile satisfies the “thrill-seeker”, the latter addresses the commuters with a case for an eco-friendly ride. The new launches most likely will boast of competitive price points, performance upgrades, and better technology to enhance the riding experience.
Sports and Electric Bikes Meaning in the Market
There still exists a demand for sports bikes in Indonesia and particularly among those young riders and enthusiasts who always seek adrenaline-pumping rides. Well, these models normally blend speed, agility, as well as freedom. Through the new sports bike launch, TVS wanted to capture the passionate enthusiasts through a new product that saw the scale in favor of balancing the power with precision.
Electric two-wheelers are gaining prominence because the government of Indonesia wants less emissions and greener modes of transportation. And then, of course, comes TVS Motor into this momentum because the electric vehicle market is seen to grow for the future, with the new electric model that recently was introduced. A new electric motorcycle will also be part of Indonesia’s carbon-emission-target reduction efforts and shifting towards other sustainable transport solutions.
Current Market Challenges and Opportunities
There is stiff competition from several other two-wheeler manufacturers in the Indonesian market, which makes the price and market competitive. However, there are plenty of opportunities associated with the two-wheeler market in Indonesia. Development in charging infrastructure and an increasing interest in cleaner means of transport are some of the positives that TVS can take with its new electric versions.
However, the sports bike will have to compete with already consolidated established firms, here, TVS would have to concentrate on distinct features and technology-driven aspects along with reasonably priced bikes that can pull market share away from well-established competition
