Subaru Launches The New 2025 BRZ Model in Indonesia

And now, here’s the latest update: PT Plaza Auto Mega launched its latest one it is looking forward to, that is the 2025 Subaru BRZ, as part of the SPORTSTIVAL: Subaru Sports Car Festival at The Forum Atrium in Mall Kelapa Gading 3. The event will be held from 24th to 27th October 2024, highlighting Subaru’s legendary lineup of sports cars: BRZ, powerful WRX Sedan, and versatile WRX Wagon.

It is featured with the new Subaru BRZ that promises overall improvements in its performance and comfort to provide excellent driving conditions both daily on the road and spirited drive on the track.

Exciting Performance Improvements in the 2025 Subaru BRZ

Better Handling: With new EPS, it even provides better handling at low RPM and has enhanced the response at high speeds.

Sport Mode: The SIX-speed manual also gets a dedicated SPORT mode where it throws open the doors to quicker throttle response and snappier torque delivery.

Suspension Improvements: With a precisely fine-tuned suspension system, it thus provides better response over road situations and comfort as felt with mundane everyday driving and track days.

Active Sound Control: An enhanced sound control system gives a more exciting and enthralling drive.

Larger RPM Band: The new model allows for more liberal manual downshifting in bigger bands of RPM for more sporty driving experience.

Its CEO, Arie Christopher, at the press conference explained what Subaru Indonesia has implemented as upgrades for the BRZ. “The latest Subaru BRZ comes with huge improvements, including comfortable handling for daily use and an increasingly sporty setting for track use,” he said. “These improvements are the results of our research in the Super TaikyuⓇ championship, where the Subaru BRZ No. 61 competes, ” he added.

I think the design of this car was for motorsport,” said Ziko Harnadi, a prominent member of the Subaru Garasi Drift Team. He also said that competitive performance of the BRZIKO in the Indonesia Drift Series: “The Subaru BRZ is indeed designed for motorsport. The BRZIKO managed to achieve Top Qualifier at D1GP and first place in the PRO class.”

Driving Experience and Performance

For 2025, the Subaru BRZ remains a uniquely enabled vehicle because of its signature 2,400cc, 4-cylinder FA24 Boxer, with output at 237 PS and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. In addition to its low weight below 1,300 kg, the BRZ has been a hot property in terms of driving dynamics, and its rear-wheel-drive setup has just taken it into other dimensions.

The performance driving is realized with a new responsive shock absorber suspension that can adapt to many road conditions, while the improved EPS system will make the driver feel confident no matter if they are running through tight corners or cruising on highways.

It features an addition of SPORT mode to the manual. This provides the whole driving experience an added excitement through immediate response of torque. Upon activating the SPORT mode, the instrument cluster refreshes for better driver concentration and awareness.

The cabin of the 2025 Subaru BRZ comes with several modern improvements. The unit comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, as well as a rearview camera, which only adds to its safety.
