Hyundai Santa Fe Launches in Indonesia from IDR 699M

The latest generation of Hyundai Santa Fe has officially been launched in Indonesia, bringing significant news to Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID). The main launching took place yesterday at the Main Atrium Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, where President Director Ju Hun Lee showed his pride and excitement in presenting an all-new Santa Fe, the company’s first hybrid vehicle available to the Indonesian automotive market.

A Radical Redesign

Great novelty in facelift has come with the new Hyundai Santa Fe, as a dashing and luxurious face will characterise it and make it look different from previous models. Bold lines at the front painted eloquently with the LED headlamps blend into an “H” shape-a characteristic of Hyundai’s design philosophy.

The face-lift model comes with a more boxy rear, which maximizes the space offered by the largest rear gate in its class. This maximizes comfort as well as relaxation after daily activities.

• The option with the ICE comes backed by the strong 2.5L GDI engine providing immense amounts of power and torque for some great driving fun.

Both trims will be available with automatic transmission. The pure ICE will have an eight-speed automatic, but a six-speed automatic would be offered if HEV is chosen.

Pricing and Variants

Hyundai’s new car, Hyundai Santa Fe, starts from IDR 699 million for the Prime ICE variant, and the high-end Turbo Hybrid Calligraphy variant will go as high as IDR 869 million on the road in DKI Jakarta.
