This event marks the second year that Harley-Davidson has participated in GIIAS under the auspices of JLM Auto Indonesia/Inchcape.

Harley-Davidson’s President Director of Inchcape Indonesia, speaking at the launch event, expressed immense pride in presenting this iconic motorcycle model. “This year, we are proud to showcase the pride of Harley-Davidson through the legendary Hydra Glide Revival. The Harley-Davidson Hydra Glide was first introduced in 1949,” he explained on Friday, July 19.
The Hydra Glide holds a special place in Harley-Davidson’s history. As part of the Harley-Davidson FL family, it served as the foundation for subsequent legendary models such as the Duo Glide and Electra Glide. The revival of the Hydra Glide is a tribute to Harley-Davidson’s rich heritage and the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality motorcycles that blend cultural legacy with modern technology.
Special Surprises and Limited Editions
The President Director added that Harley-Davidson is also launching limited edition products at GIIAS 2024, which are expected to attract fans and collectors alike. “We are also excited to launch limited edition products that will certainly capture the attention of enthusiasts and collectors. Additionally, we will hold a charity auction, with some proceeds going to our CSR program, to positively impact society. GIIAS 2024 will be a very special moment, and we hope all visitors can feel the enthusiasm and innovation we bring to this event,” he said.

As a limited collection, each Hydra Glide Revival model is individually numbered and produced only once, with global production capped at 1,750 units. This exclusivity adds to the allure and value of the motorcycle for collectors and enthusiasts.
The Hydra Glide Revival boasts a Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin counter-balanced engine, featuring a new cooling system designed to optimize thermal comfort for riders. This system enhances airflow, improving the motorcycle’s performance. Riders can choose from various driving modes, including Road, Sport, Rain, and Custom, catering to different riding preferences and conditions.
The motorcycle’s design pays homage to its historical roots, with a chrome tank badge inspired by the 1955-1956 tank badge and a ‘Hydra Glide Revival’ badge on the handlebar’s top. The back of the motorcycle features the Icons Motorcycle graphics, clearly identifying it as part of the Hydra Glide Revival production.

A 12.3-inch colored touchscreen TFT replaces all analog instruments, offering a modern interface for riders.
