Jakarta — Ford is to expand its presence in Indonesia through the introduction of at least two new models of cars prior to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. The statement was released by Toto Suharto, RMA Indonesia Country Manager, in an event in Jakarta on Monday (10/3/2025).
While precise information is not revealed, it is indicated that the two new models will feature the iconic Mustang and a new version of the Ford Everest SUV.

New Everest Variant to Join the Lineup
One of the new models will expand the Everest lineup, which currently consists of the Titanium and XLT variants. Toto hinted that this new addition would further strengthen Ford’s SUV segment in Indonesia.
“In the future, we want to introduce a vehicle that completes the Ford Everest lineup. Maybe our friends at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Show (GJAW) have already seen one of the products that will be launched soon,” said Toto.
Mustang Returns to Steal the Spotlight
Ford made waves at GJAW 2025 by showcasing the latest version of the Mustang. This iconic muscle car drew significant attention from visitors, and its anticipated launch in Indonesia will mark a significant milestone for the brand’s sports car offerings in the country.
