GAC at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show put on a grand display which included four new concept cars that present the company’s dedication to what is next in electric and autonomous tech. We saw at which how they play in many segments from luxury SUV’s to commercial electric pick up trucks which also displays GAC’s large scale ambition in the global EV field.

Key Highlights
- AION V Autonomous: A fully electric, self-driving SUV equipped with Level 4 autonomous technology, developed in partnership with DiDi Autonomous Driving.
“We present the first mass-production model of AION with L4 technology directly installed in the factory through collaboration between GAC and DiDi Autonomous Driving,” said Huang Yongqiang, Executive Committee Member and Head of Brand Marketing of GAC Group.
- GAC Motor S9: A premium electric SUV created in collaboration with Huawei, aimed at the luxury segment
“Then there is the premium new energy flagship SUV resulting from the collaboration between GAC and Huawei, the GAC Motor S9,” Huang continued.
- Hyptec EARTH: A futuristic, fully electric shooting brake concept that blends luxury with cutting-edge tech.
“The shooting brake concept car represents the pinnacle of luxury and intelligent technology,” Huang said.
- Pickup 01: An electric concept pickup truck designed with a balance of modern aesthetics and advanced EV technology.
“The concept of a stylish pickup truck combines technology and aesthetics,” Huang concluded.
