PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) keeps strengthening its dealership network in Indonesia in an effort to provide improved services and customer satisfaction through the Premium Shop concept.
Following the launch of the initial Premium Shop at Jakarta on the occasion of Yamaha Indonesia’s 50th anniversary in 2024, Yamaha refurbished its Flagship Shop in Bandung in March 2025. And now, the company has opened the new Yamaha Flagship Shop Semarang officially on April 9, 2025.

The New Flagship Shop in Semarang
The Semarang branch, at Jalan Pemuda No. 83–85, Pandansari, Semarang Tengah, has been in operation for more than 20 years and has been thoroughly renovated to fit Yamaha’s Premium Shop concept. The new dealership boasts a new showroom, spacious waiting rooms, and digital information services to create an enhanced customer experience.
The recent upgrades focus on four key areas:
- Premium Design Concept: The dealership now features thematic zones, including the Premium Zone for MAXi Yamaha models, the Fashionable Zone for Classy models, the Active Zone for Generasi 125, and the Exciting Zone for Sport models. These zones are designed to give customers a tailored experience, depending on their preferences.
- Customer-Centric Services: Emphasizing customer satisfaction, the shop offers digital information services to assist consumers in making informed decisions about their products and services.
- Enhanced Waiting Comfort: A modern co-working space has been added, allowing customers to relax or remain productive while their vehicles are serviced.
- Updated Branding: The dealership now displays Yamaha’s new 2D logo, enhancing brand visibility and consistency across various platforms.
The primary transformation of conventional dealerships into Premium Shops as underlined by Takeshita Naotaka, Vice President Director of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), is Yamaha’s comprehensive premium marketing strategy. The objective is to improve the quality of services and the level of satisfaction of customers in all the shops.
“The launch of Flagship Shops in Jakarta and Bandung follows with the rebranding of these shops to a Premium Shop, and now Premium Shop in a similar look will also be available for consumers in Semarang,” as stated by Naotaka in his topic dated April 11.

Yamaha Gear Ultima Officially Launched in Central Java
Alongside the dealer inauguration, Yamaha also introduced its latest product – the Yamaha Gear Ultima, targeting young families in Indonesia. This multi-purpose scooter is designed to meet practical everyday needs.
The Gear Ultima features:

- Practical features for carrying cargo and riding with children
Yamaha is offering two variants:
- Gear Ultima Standard: IDR 20,350,000 (OTR Central Java)
- Gear Ultima S: IDR 21,850,000 (OTR Central Java)
