For the third time, the most-awaited and longed-for MUF Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) will once more electrify the Indonesian automotive world on the last days of 2024. Held from 22nd November to 2nd December 2024 at the ICE BSD in Tangerang, this year’s event promises to be even more exciting than the previous two, with 27 car brands participating. The event will feature two newcomers in the Indonesian market and one returning old favorite: Zeekr and Altera and Ford. “We welcome Zeekr, Altera, and Ford,” declared MUF GJAW Chief Executive Rizwan Alamsjah in the press conference held at Senayan, Jakarta on 7th November.

The lineup of this exhibition is a combination of leading international brands and emerging innovators, where visitors can really indulge in diverse choices from traditional combustion, electric (EV), and hybrid vehicles. Diversity is expected to enrich Indonesia’s automotive landscape especially because GJAW 2024 marks the embrace of the theme “Home of 1,000 Cars and Excitements.”

Zeekr, newcomer and Altera, enter this year’s challenge by reaching out to exhibition attendees through distinct innovations in car design:
Zeekr: Known for perfect electric vehicles with futuristic sleek exteriors and advanced technology to ensure sustainability and performance, their entry into the Indonesian automotive market is going to rewrite the code in designing and engineering Electric Vehicles.
Altera: An emerging brand that has gained much attention due to hybrid and electric vehicle concepts. Focus on Altera, where advanced technology is combined with aesthetic appeal resonates well with evolving preference for environmentally-friendly yet powerful vehicles.
Ford is also one such return, hopefully set to please long-time fans eager to see familiar yet renewed versions.
