Kawasaki Motor Launches 4-wheeled Off-road Vehicle in Indonesia

JAKARTA – PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia, which has been renowned for high-performance two-wheeled motorcycles, now enters the 4-wheel vehicle off-road market. For the first time, Kawasaki sets a business line targeted at machines for rugged off-road activities, including ATVs or All Terrain Vehicles, UVs or Utility Vehicles, and RUVs or Recreational Utility Vehicles. Backed by two extraordinary models which shook Indonesia, Kawasaki is ready to conquer the 4-wheel off-road segment.

With Kawasaki’s Brute Force 750 and Mule PRO-DXT FE, the thrill of off-road adventure meets industrial strength, making them the perfect companions for any terrain, be it recreational or heavy-duty tasks.

    Kawasaki’s New 4-Wheel Off-Road Vehicle Offerings

Kawasaki has enjoyed an excellent reputation for high-performance sports motorcycles. It was now time for KMI to unleash all that dedication and innovation onto the off-road vehicle market. Offering two 4-wheel models, the Kawasaki Brute Force 750 and the Kawasaki Mule PRO-DXT FE, is positioning the company in this more niche market segment.

Kawasaki Brute Force 750: An All-Terrain Powerhouse

The Kawasaki Brute Force 750 is an ATV giant with 749cc of engine capacity. This model seeks the right blend of comfort and capability, engineered for acute off-road performance-desired by any adventure enthusiast looking at rough terrains.

    Off-Road Capability

Equipped with both 2WD and 4WD, Brute Force 750 will have the power to take difficult tracks with much ease. Due to the presence of EPS, even the most difficult off-road trails can be negotiated smoothly and with stability. While built for hardness, at the same time it is strong, giving riders a comfortable and smooth off-road feeling.

Kawasaki Mule PRO-DXT FE: A Heavy-Duty Utility Vehicle

The Kawasaki Mule PRO-DXT FE is a most powerful UV, featuring a 993cc engine for the most massive operations off-road. By its bigger engine and stronger construction, it is very apt for industrial applications, farm operations, and off-road recreational events.

    Utility and Versatility

It derives utility from the design element of comfortably seating two passengers side by side. With a big cargo bed and 2WD and 4WD modes selected, this vehicle will not break a sweat with heavy loads and challenging terrains. Strong and economical on fuel, the diesel engine adds merit to investing in such a machine for industrial operations or even discretionary activities.

    The Mission Behind Kawasaki’s 4-Wheel

Expansion Gradually but steadily, over time, Kawasaki has always tried to put in every effort so that performance, precision, and innovation come across for customers. This expansion into 4-wheel off-road vehicles naturally fits the mission of this company: “To work for the pleasure and joy of everyone where Kawasaki takes part in their life.”

After years of domination in sports motorcycles, we are excited to break into new territories by introducing these off-road machines into the Indonesian market. We want our customers to have the same feeling of thrill and pleasure, just like with our two-wheel customers,” said Michael C Tanadhi, Head of Sales & Promotion for PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia.

Entering the off-road 4-wheel market in Indonesia is a strategic decision, considering the increasing trend of off-road adventure tours and utility vehicles in Indonesia. Global recognition for excellence in engineering has made Kawasaki’s 4-wheel offerings fit for diverse and challenging terrains throughout the archipelago.

Imported Off-Road Vehicles from the US H2 Both the Brute Force 750 and the Mule PRO-DXT FE are fully imported from the United States, underlining Kawasaki’s commitment to product quality and innovation. With these two products, PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia is targeting a niche but growing market segment that needs high-performance off-road vehicles to support both recreational and industrial tasks.

    Industry Growth

The Indonesian off-road vehicle market has been growing steadily as more and more people embark on voyages into the vast, often brash Indonesian archipelago. Consequently, there is an emerging need for sturdy and powerful off-road vehicles fueled by farming, industrial, or leisure requirements. Kawasaki enters this sector with the introduction of the Brute Force 750 and Mule PRO-DXT FE to maintain a leadership position.
