Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is set to launch its new, revolutionary Honda e-Technology. Elevate your City Tour program by launching it in three new cities in Indonesia namely Palembang, Yogyakarta, and Malang. The three cities were chosen because people showed a keen interest in electrification technology; this further nudging the continued success of the city, beginning with the initial win in Jakarta. This step speaks of Honda’s commitment to sustainability as well as innovation. It takes eco-friendly vehicles under its wing while attracting people towards historical and cultural exploration.
We want to ensure that more people can engage and understand more about sustainable transportation solutions through Honda e: Technology

Power the Discovery: Historic Sites through Honda e:Technology
Among those experiences that create the perfect opportunity for people to explore historical landmarks without harming the environment due to Honda’s electrified line-up is the Honda e-Technology City Tour. It was also programmed to have already successfully run in Jakarta and saw its way into other markets where it tried to communicate the message further about the advantages of electric vehicles in the urban environment. Honda has teamed up with the Good Guide community to provide an entertaining, educational, and eco-friendly exploration of each city’s most beloved historical sites.
The expansion into Palembang, Yogyakarta, and Malang demonstrates a commitment by Honda to driving sustainability in cities that share high enthusiasm for clean technologies. With the ability for participants to explore history using modern, electrified vehicles, Honda is effectively merging the past and the future together.
“We strongly felt a sense of enthusiastic interest throughout the activities in Jakarta, and participants themselves often expressed hopes for this program’s expansion to other cities. With this new phase, we are hoping that even more people can experience and learn about sustainable transportation solutions with Honda e-Technology,” said Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director at PT Honda Prospect Motor.

Honda’s Electrified Lineup: Where the Past Meets Future
As a part of the Honda e-Technology City Tour, Honda will present several models in its electrified lineup which include:
Honda E:N1 : This is Honda’s first fully electric vehicle, and it will be launched in Indonesia in 2025 to become the future of eco-friendly driving.
Honda StepWGN e: HEV; a hybrid MPV, launched last year, at GIIAS 2024 and embodied all the innovation Honda had packed into its hybrid technology.

Showcased alongside the Honda EM1 e electric scooter designed for urban routes will be the Honda LiB-AID E500 energy storage device-as part of Honda’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
Special attractions in the tour include the Honda N-VAN EV Prototype, which acts as a walking café called Honda Dreams Café Mobile. Thus, it shows Honda’s ability to undertake integration of EV technology into practical commercial and everyday applications.
Moving Further: Extending Honda’s Electrification Roadmap
Within the extensive electrification strategy by Honda, the Honda e-Technology City Tour also falls into place. Honda has already spearheaded initiatives such as partnering with Pertamina to use the Honda N-VAN EV Prototype as a commercial vehicle and working with the University of Indonesia, where it utilized the Honda e-Technology as a campus transportation vehicle for six months as an example of the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
As Yusak Billy underlined: “We would like to show people that Honda is not just a car maker but also an indicator of innovation, reliability, and passion, which have been characteristics of our brand since the very beginning”.
