JAKARTA – Hyundai has launched the Ioniq 9, a large electric SUV with high-tech features, into the international market. The Ioniq 9 is to arrive in Indonesia shortly, with local assembly in talks.
Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, PT Hyundai Motor Indonesia (HMID) Chief Operating Officer, has confirmed that the Ioniq 9 will come to the Indonesian market. But the launch date remains a secret for now.

Frans emphasized that offering new global models like the Ioniq 9 will help expand the market share in Indonesia. “We aim to introduce this model this year to increase market volume,” said Frans during a media briefing in Jakarta on March 20.
