On 28 August – 1 September 2024, the stage will be acting among the most important venues for Citroën to manifest the latest innovations it has developed and to express its commitment to the Indonesian market.

Citroën’s booth at the GIIAS Surabaya 2024 is themed as “#FromFranceforIndonesia,” showing connection and interaction with French design and engineering, bonding with the requirements of Indonesian consumers. A specially crafted ambience greets the visitors, plunging them into the brand’s heritage and its vision of automotive innovation.
Anchoring the most-awaited display at Citroën’s booth will be the all-electric C3 model, set to be assembled locally in Indonesia over the next few years. The electric car forms part of the strategic move at Citroën to meet the increased demand for friendly eco-alternative transport modes in Indonesia, while local assembly underlines the brand’s commitment to the domestic market.

Attractive Promos to Encourage Electric Car Adoption
To further facilitate people owning a Citroën car, PT Indomobil National Distributor launched several tempting promos during GIIAS Surabaya 2024: a 0% interest three-year financing package, a free wall charger, and a free LED Headlamp on every purchase of the Citroën E-C3. In this way, these offers contribute to lowering entry barriers for interested consumers into electric vehicles and opening up new Citroën models to more people.

Building Strong Ecology in Indonesia
Citroën does not stop at only selling cars in Indonesia, but the brand is building a strong ecosystem to support its growing customer base, with 22 dealer networks across the country. Citroën has invested heavily in infrastructure such as a Parts Center in Purwakarta that will ensure the availability of Citroën parts and therefore enhance customer satisfaction and trust in the brand.
In July, during GIIAS Jakarta 2024, Citroën announced that it would start local production in Indonesia. The next big step for the brand in Southeast Asia. The result of a cooperation between PT Indomobil National Distributor Stellantis with PT Nasional Assemblers, an Indomobil Group assembly company headquartered in Purwakarta, West Java.

Drawing in Consumers through Interactivity
Citroën wants to further engage with the Indonesian public in developing Citizenship of Citroën. Therefore, at GIIAS Surabaya 2024, Citroën introduces a program called “Comfort Drive Challenge” as an effort to let selected consumers feel the comfort of driving a Citroën. Citroën will lend as many as 100 units of the All-New Citroën C3 Aircross SUV to 5,000 selected consumers all over Indonesia within the framework of the program.
