Aion Indonesia Prepares to Launch New Models at GJAW

Aion Indonesia is preparing for a highly awaited launch of models at the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW), which will take place from 22nd November to 1st December 2024. The event, held at ICE BSD in Tangerang, is expected to attract auto enthusiasts, and Aion’s entry into the electric vehicle (EV) segment will no doubt be the talking point. It plans to bring the latest model from the Aion Series, which has already shaken markets such as Europe and Australia.

Aion’s High-Appreciated Electric Car

Aion Indonesia’s CEO, Andry Ciu said that the new electric car had already gained great global acclaim for its impressively long range, ultra-fast charging, and great cruising power. “This model gets great praise.”. They are impressed with the ability to travel and fast charging it, as well as its cruising power so that it allows users to travel further,” said Ciu in an official statement on Monday (11/18/2024). The praise highlights the vehicle’s ability to cater to modern drivers seeking longer range and convenience, making it a strong contender in the competitive EV market.

The Exterior Design: Inspired by the Tyrannosaurus Rex

A teaser image Aion Indonesia released showed that this new model has a design on its exterior that exudes boldness, sharp lines, and robust posture. Design inspiration for the vehicle is based on the historic strength and agility possessed by the Tyrannosaurus Rex, representing the boldness and power Aion is supposed to convey. That dashing design is not only attractive but addresses the car’s capability and modern aesthetic.

Luxury Interior for Comfort and Convenience

Inside, the car does not disappoint from its luxurious feature’s standpoint as it takes precedence over comfort. The arrangement provides ergonomic butterfly-shaped seats which support the passengers perfectly. Eight-point massage feature is also offered in this car to make a long drive without tiresome feelings. This car’s backrest can go up to 137 degrees that ensures the superior comfortability of being seated. One notable feature is the large 2.15 m² panoramic roof, which opens up and fills the cabin with open and airy spaciousness. The car also comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen that has equipped cutting-edge technology in infotainment and control to make every drive enjoyable and connected.

Supporting EV Ecosystem and Net Zero Emission Goals

Aion Indonesia’s new vehicle supports the efforts of the Indonesian government to build a sustainable electric vehicle ecosystem. It highlights the model’s environmental friendliness and allows it to be part of the Net Zero Emission target, a goal the nation is promising to achieve by 2060.
