Government Initiatives
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said a 20% discount would be offered on toll fares on some major toll road corridors in Indonesia. This is among efforts by the government to minimize the cost of land travel by the public during the Eid homecoming season.
Hutama Karya’s Toll Discounts
Hutama Karya, the government establishment, has initiated a 20% discount for the following JTTS (Trans Sumatra Toll Road) sections. (JTTS stands for Trans Sumatra Toll Road)
- Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung Toll Road (Terpeka): It is used for both South Bakauheni-Kayu Agung and vice versa and the discount can be obtained here.
- Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road (Indraprabu): You can apply the same route for Lembang-Prabumulih and vice versa, and the discount can also be enjoyed.
- Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road (Permai): The route of Pekanbaru-Dumai and the discount can be used here and vice versa.
- Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road (Inkis): Route of Tanjung Pura-Kisaran and Kisaran-Sinaksak and vice versa can take the discount.
- Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road (Kutepat): The discount is available for Tanjung Pura-Sinaksak and Kisaran-Sinaksak and vice versa.

Jasa Marga Toll Discounts
Toll road operator Jasa Marga is providing a 20% discount on the toll fee for return traffic during Eid. The discount runs from 5 a.m. on April 8, 2025, until 5 a.m. on April 10, 2025, Jakarta time. The discount is for trips from Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Central Java to Cikampek Utama Toll Gate in West Java.
Toll Rates from Surabaya to Semarang
For travelers heading from Surabaya to Semarang, the toll rates before discounts are as follows:
- Surabaya-Mojokerto: Rp. 43,500
- Mojokerto-Kertosono: Rp. 55,000
- Kertosono-Ngawi: Rp. 98,000
- Ngawi-Solo: Rp. 131,000
- Solo-Semarang: Rp. 92,000
- Total: Rp. 419,500
Toll Prices from Jakarta to Surabaya
The calculated Class I toll price for the Jakarta to Surabaya journey after discount adjustment, from the original IDR 859,500 to IDR 771,500. Although toll fare discounts are provided, travelers should top up the balance of their toll cards with a value greater than the estimated amount to ensure smooth transactions at toll booths.
