Wuling Motors had always been concerned with environmental sustainability, and it was reflected in the spirit of “Shaping Clean Tomorrow.” This commitment has again become evident with Wuling mobilizing as many as 158 units of its pure EVs in support of the international prestigious event. The fleet consisted of 100 units of ShauEV and 58 units of CloudEV, both models from Wuling’s modern facility at Cikarang.
It’s representative of the growing position of Wuling in the electric vehicle market that its EVs are selected by the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia. The CloudEV is an electric vehicle that is appropriate for versatile use; during the event, it served as both a protocol and a rescue unit. The BINGO EV is positioned as an electric vehicle hatchback with an iconic design combined with modern features, to be a mobility partner for the participants of the delegation. Efficiency and a compact body make it very suitable for negotiating crowded roads in Bali during the summit.
High Domestic Component Level (TKDN): ShauEV and CloudEV each have a TKDN above 40%, reflecting Wuling’s commitment to continues supporting the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia.
Wuling’s All-round Supporting Services
For the smooth going of the event, Wuling also opened a 24-hour service center around the Jimbaran area. The facility was managed specifically for the maintenance of the EVs used in this event. It had a parking area, charging stations, a car wash facility, integrated pool management, real-time security, and experienced mechanical personnel.
Wuling had also provided additional charging points at the ITDC parking centers, which would serve more CloudEV units on duty in the VVIP series. This investment in infrastructure helped guarantee event operations and demonstrated support from Wuling for their EVs in any operational environment.
