Sales Performance in Indonesia
According to MG Motor Indonesia’s CEO, Hu Guowei (Alec), the MG Cyberster has a niche market. Due to its premium positioning, its sales numbers cannot be compared to mass-market models.
“So far, more than 50 units of the MG Cyberster have been sold to customers. This is a good volume considering its high price. After all, it is an electric roadster,” Alec stated during a media interview in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on March 4, 2025.
At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, MG managed to sell seven units of the Cyberster. The buyers mostly come from the upper-middle class, particularly those who appreciate fast and high-performance vehicles.
