The Prestigious Otomotif Award 2024
The Otomotif Award, now in its 17th year, is an annual event organised by Tabloid Otomotif, one of Indonesia’s leading automotive media outlets. This year’s event carried the theme “Innovation in Motion,” celebrating the automotive brands that have excelled in innovation and delivered the best vehicle products to the Indonesian market. The judging process was conducted by competent and independent test drivers and riders from Tabloid Otomotif, who evaluated 87 cars and 95 motorbikes over one year from April 2023 to April 2024.
BinguoEV: A Blend of Style and Functionality
BinguoEV, Wuling’s second electric vehicle product for the Indonesian market, stands out with its timeless design and modern features. The exterior of this hatchback-sized vehicle boasts an X-Shaped LED Headlamp and a diamond-shaped grille, giving it a distinctive look. The impressive two-tone body color adds an elegant and unique touch, while the X-Shaped LED Tail Lights and Streamline Ducktail at the rear provide a modern and futuristic appeal.
Inside, the BinguoEV is designed to offer both style and comfort. The spacious cabin is equipped with numerous compartments, making it easier to store luggage and personal items. The car features 15 accessible storage spaces and a Deep Sunk Style Trunk Space, allowing users to maximize storage capacity. With the second-row bench folded, the trunk space expands to 790 liters, making it highly accommodating for daily mobility needs.

The vehicle’s IP67 standard battery and frame structure made of high-strength steel provide robust protection. Other safety features include Auto Vehicle Holding, Electronic Stability Control, ABS & EBD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, ISOFIX, and 2 SRS Airbags, all designed to prevent incidents and enhance driving safety.
Variants and Availability
The BinguoEV is available in three variants for the Indonesian market: Long Range AC, Long Range AC/DC, and Premium Range AC/DC. The Long Range variants offer a range of up to 333 km, while the Premium Range variant extends up to 410 km. Customers can choose from three colour options: Milk Tea and Mousse Green, which feature brown and white interiors, and Galaxy Blue, which comes with a black and white interior. Additionally, Wuling offers a Lifetime Core EV Components Warranty for BinguoEV purchases, providing long-term assurance for consumers.
