Periklindo Announces 2024 Electric Vehicle Conference in Bali, Indonesia

The Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association, or abbreviation Periklindo, is preparing to hold the Electric Vehicle Conference 2024 in Bali on 12-13 September 2024. The event is themed “EVolution REvolution on Technology, Consumers and the Road to Sustainability.” With this theme, the latest in innovative electric vehicle technology, consumer trends, and sustainable ecosystems will be embraced to further enhance the proper understanding of EVs among the public, while accelerating their uptake.

Why the EV Conference is Important

Periklindo’s Chairman, Jend. (Ret.) Dr. Moeldoko, SIP, said, “The goal is to provide information to all parties, not only the community but also industry, universities, and others so that understanding electric vehicles shall improve.” He said it in a press conference which was held in Menteng, Jakarta, on 4 September.

Moeldoko emphasized that this event is not limited to the general public. It’s also targeted at industry professionals, academia, and government bodies to understand together what role EVs will play in the future of Indonesia.

Moeldoko expressed his confidence that the conference would help advance the electric vehicle movement in Indonesia: “It is hoped that with this event, the movement of electric vehicles in Indonesia will grow rapidly,” he underscored, pointing out a very important potential result of EVs ensuring cleaner, carbon-free air throughout the country.
