PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has officially launched the latest Honda HR-V hybrid in Indonesia on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, with this being the first significant model change since 2022. The latest update of the Honda HR-V arrives with updates to the exterior, interior and features, but more importantly hybrid technology for the engine.

Local Production Signals Honda’s Commitment
Shugo Watanabe, President Director of PT HPM, highlighted that the local production of Honda hybrid vehicles in Indonesia has now begun. He emphasized this milestone as a major step to not only increase vehicle availability but also demonstrate Honda’s long-term dedication to the Indonesian market.

Competitive Pricing for Hybrid and Petrol Variants
Yusak Billy, Director of Sales, Marketing, and After Sales at PT HPM, shared details on the new pricing strategy aimed at meeting consumer expectations for hybrid vehicles.
- HR-V RS e:HEV (flagship hybrid variant): Priced under IDR 500 million (OTR Jakarta), now at IDR 488 million for the highest variant, down from IDR 551 million.
- Sporty variant with Modulo accessories: Positioned just below the RS e:HEV variant.
- e:HEV hybrid variant: Starting price at IDR 449 million (OTR Jakarta).
- Petrol variant: Starting below IDR 400 million (OTR Jakarta), beginning at IDR 399 million.

- Sporty RS Design: Comes with a sleek RS Aero kit, bold body-coloured grille, and sequential LED turn signals integrated into slim LED headlights.
- Premium Upgrades: Features panoramic glass roof, auto-folding mirrors with LED indicators, hands-free power tailgate, shark-fin antenna, and full-width 3D-effect LED taillight strip.
- 17–18″ Wheels:
- RS e:HEV – 18″ alloy wheels riding on 225/50 R18 tires
