Jakarta — PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) on Thursday (Feb 20, 2025) officially turned over 60 units of the Omoda E5 electric car to PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The electric vehicles will serve as operational vehicles, contributing to BSI’s drive toward sustainable mobility.

Strengthening EV Adoption in the Corporate Sector
The delivery of 60 Omoda E5 EVs is a big step for Chery and BSI in promoting eco-friendly transportation. BSI has also expressed the possibility of increasing the number of units in the future, further cementing the transition to sustainable corporate fleets.
“We greatly appreciate the trust given by Bank BSI to Chery Omoda E5 as a form of support for the acceleration of vehicle electrification in Indonesia, as well as a contribution to environmental sustainability,” said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Department CSI.

Omoda E5: A Smart and Efficient EV
Chery Omoda E5 EV is one of the most advanced among modern design, technology and electric powertrain. Key advantages include:

The Omoda E5 is available in three variants:
- Omoda E5 Pure – IDR 425.5 million
- Omoda E5 Single Tone – IDR 505.5 million
- Omoda E5 Two Tone – IDR 510.5 million

Chery’s Commitment to Green Innovation
This collaboration is expected by Chery to not only cut down carbon emissions but also promote the use of various eco-friendly electric vehicles in the wider community.
As part of the Go Green Fund program which Chery has launched from 2025, they will offer incentives for consumers who want to upgrade to the Omoda E5 through a trade-in scheme from their old vehicles. This will ease the adoption from traditional vehicles to EVs and create traction in electric mobility in the country.
