Makassar, South Sulawesi – Aion Indonesia has formally expanded its dealers network by launching the first Aion showroom in Makassar, marking the brand’s first move to South Sulawesi. This reinforces Aion’s commitment to sustainability and mobility while reaching more customers throughout Indonesia.

Aion Strengthens Presence in Eastern Indonesia
Located at Jl. Sultan Alauddin I No. 193, Rappocini District, the Makassar dealership sits on a 1,294 m² area and operates with a full 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) concept. This ensures customers in Makassar get a complete experience—from buying, servicing, to parts availability—all in one location.
According to AION Indonesia CEO Andry Ciu, the opening of this new dealer shows the company’s dedication to building a national electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
“We want to get closer to consumers—not only in Java and Sumatra—but also in Central and Eastern Indonesia,” said Andry.
Partnering with DETA Group
This new outlet is a partnership with DETA Group, one of the local players in the automotive business. Dylan Tedja, President Director of DETA Group, shared his excitement about collaborating with Aion to promote electric mobility in Sulawesi.
“The Makassar Aion Dealer will become a key gateway to grow the EV market in this region,” said Dylan.
