Driving Business Adoption of EVs
DFSK and Kalista join forces to accelerate the growth of electric vehicles within different business areas, most specifically logistics. Central to this vision is the DFSK Gelora E, the first light commercial electric vehicle to be introduced in Indonesia, selected by Kalista to assist with the transition of its fleet into a greener, more eco-friendly operation.
“This collaboration not only presents electric vehicles as a mobility solution, but also includes comprehensive infrastructure support and after-sales services,” said Doni Putra Okten, Head of Sales and Marketing Department of PT Sokonindo Automobile.
DFSK Gelora E: A Smart Choice for Businesses
DFSK Gelora E is available in two models—minibus and blind van— tailored to suit various business requirements. With a 42 kWh lithium-iron battery, it has a range of 300 km on a single charge.
One of its most significant benefits is considerably lower operating costs, which are estimated to be only around a third of the cost of traditional fuel, an attractive choice for companies seeking to save money and lower emissions.
Kalista’s Comprehensive EV Ecosystem
Kalista is proactively building an electric vehicle ecosystem, including vehicle acquisition, infrastructure support, and after-sales services.
The company is focusing on three core sectors – urban transportation, logistics, and mining – said Rono Purnomo Yunarto, General Manager of Business Development & Commercial Kalista. The idea is to offer seamless transition to businesses making a switch to electric mobility.

Electrification of Last Mile and Public Transportation Projects
Besides its collaboration with Kalista, DFSK is leading EV uptake with the “Electrified Last Mile” campaign. This calls on companies to try out electric commercial vehicles firsthand in terms of efficiency and sustainability.
DFSK also operates on electric public transportation initiatives all over Indonesia. The DFSK Gelora E Minibus was actually piloted as an electric-oriented public vehicle transport in towns such as Bandung and Bogor. Such experimentation seeks to help cut back on emissions as public transportation option provision is delivered cheaply.
