BMW M GmbH has provided a new update on the luxury high-performance SUV, the BMW XM, just ahead of the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 14, 2025, which shows BMW’s sincere commitment to mixing luxury, performance, and technology in the sports SUV space.

Fewer Variants, More Focus
BMW is simplifying the XM lineup for the European market by offering only two variants:
- BMW XM Label (top variant)
- BMW XM 50e
This change reflects BMW’s intention to focus on exclusivity and performance.
BMW XM Label: The Most Powerful BMW M Ever
- Engine: 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo combined with an electric motor (M HYBRID system)
- Power Output: 748 horsepower and 1,000 Nm torque
- Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds
- Top Speed: Electronically limited to 250 km/h; can be raised to 290 km/h with the M Driver’s Package
This makes the XM Label the most powerful production model from BMW M.

- New exterior color option: Frozen Tanzanite Blue from BMW Individual for a unique look
- Aggressive styling with large BMW M kidney grille and glossy black accents
- Exclusive Welcome Light Animation when the car starts
- Larger wheels: Standard 22-inch Double Spoke 922 M Bicolor rims, optional 23-inch 1096 M black rims for a sportier stance
