Program Launch – The program is launched with an MoU signing.
As a formal beginning, Hyundai Jump School conducted an MoU ceremony at Sheraton Grand Hotel Jakarta along with the University of Indonesia and Wahana Visi Indonesia. Besides fostering the reduction of social disparities, the program focuses on strengthening integration into the community through quality education.
This project will kick off with 50 chosen students from the University of Indonesia. The volunteers will provide knowledge and emotional support at seven learning centers. Among them are the Putra Village Orphanage and the Nurrisef Learning Activity Studio. All volunteers will engage in this process for 4 hours every week for 10 successive months.
Scholarships and Character Development End
Each of the 50 participants will receive a scholarship worth 1 million won (about IDR 11.5 million). In addition, the best participants are given a special opportunity to conduct a field trip to South Korea for direct exposure to business operations at Hyundai Motors Indonesia and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. It would be a great opportunity for participants to gather insight into automotive studies and international views.

Furthermore, to assure the success of the program, Hyundai Jump School Indonesia will involve 20-30 professional mentors coming from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds, ranging from academics and community service expertise to HMID employees who will then be mentoring participants under their care on an individual basis intensively. The guidance would intend to leave lifetime positive marks on the young participants and the people surrounding them.
It can thus be stated that the Hyundai Jump School program will run from September 2024 to June 2025.
