Jakarta – Alva, the local electric motorcycle brand, has signed a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to tap into advanced AI technologies to improve customer experiences. This is one step forward for the adoption rate of electric vehicles in Indonesia, especially among two-wheeled vehicles.
Alva’s Vision on Integration of AI
Alva, a member of the Ilectra Motor Group (IMG), will leverage Google Cloud’s AI capabilities to supercharge its R&D process, provide tailored insights for better customer service, and enhance the productivity of sales teams.

Customer Insights with AI
Google Cloud’s cloud and AI data technology is very important in helping us gain data-based insights that will guide R&D and experience at every touchpoint in customer journeys, which ultimately accelerates adoption and demand for electric vehicles,” said Purbaja Pantja, CEO of Alva, in a statement received on Tuesday, 1 October. This move on AI aims at reducing customer concerns and achieving an overall satisfaction quotient, putting Alva head to head-as the leader in Indonesia‘s electric motorcycle market.
Improving Data Management through BigQuery
Alva will use BigQuery, the integrated data platform of Google Cloud, to bring together structured and unstructured data within its organization. This step would take the Business Intelligence Division at Alva much closer to zeroing in on its objective of reducing coding down the time taken to access data from 80 percent to around 25 percent
Mitigating Concerns by Users: Bill Anxiety
One of the major fears of electric vehicle users has been the concern of charging availability. Alva is trying to obviate this concern by bringing Google Maps services directly into the dashboards of motorcycles, thereby sending users directly to the fastest charging stations. This will prevent users from looking at an external phone device while riding a motorcycle.
“Electric motor users need not worry because manufacturers have linked Google Maps services to vehicle dashboards to provide direct navigation to the fastest charging stations,” Purbaja emphasized. This innovation not only enhances the riding experience but also encourages more potential customers to consider electric motorcycles as a viable alternative to conventional vehicles.
Empowering Customer Service using AI
Another important collaboration is with Google Cloud with which Alva is aligning to provide the customer service teams with the contextual AI-driven insights. This would mean even more engaging, satisfying conversations for the customer service agent because he understands the greater context behind a customer’s question
Deepen Marketing and Sales Optimization Strategy
AI will further the fine-tuning of Alva’s marketing and sales strategies. Customer interactions and sales data, analyzed on Google Cloud, will help tailor marketing messages to fit more accurately different regions and demographics of the target audience. More likely than not, such efforts will resonate with their potential buyers and create more chances of being sold.
