Jetour Sets Price for Dashing and X70 Plus, Up to IDR 414 Million

Jakarta – PT Jetour Motor Indonesia (Jetour) introduced the final official price for its two newest models – the Dashing and the X70 Plus. These are the same vehicles unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in 2024 that have been pegged with final selling prices.

Jetour Dashing, X70 Plus Price List Available

The novelties which were announced in the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in Tangerang, such as Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus, are about to enter the Indonesian market. At the time of their first presence in Indonesia, they did not have a specific price for each model, and the consumers eagerly waited to know its cost. Following nearly three months after its unveiling, Jetour has finally unveiled the official prices for these two models; thus, they began their journey into the Indonesian automotive market.

Jetour unveiled the price of the Dashing model at IDR 389.8 million and the X70 Plus at IDR 414.8 million. Moreover, such prices come included in an exclusive pre-booking offer available from October until 30 November 2024. This was claimed by Jacky Yang, President Director at Jetour Motor Indonesia, who is firm in his beliefs of developing quality models with competitive prices.

Jetour: A Brand Under Chery Group

Although Jetour is still an unknown brand among most Indonesian customers, it has a close relation with Chery, a relatively familiar automotive firm. The company, Jetour was founded in 2018 and located in Wuhu, China as a subsidiary of Chery Group. Even though it is still a young brand, yet Jetour is aggressive to spread its presence across Indonesia and further ensure its valuable market presence.

Indonesia Expansion Strategy

Jetour is very aggressive in building up a strong network of distribution throughout Indonesia. In five years, it plans to bring on board 100 additional sales and service centers throughout the country. This will strengthen access for the consumer while facilitating an easy purchase and after-sales experience for Jetour.

Based on his experience, Sales & Network Director Michael Budiharja from Jetour Indonesia said that in the next five years, Jetour will build 100 sales and service networks with a sales target of 150,000 units. This extensive distribution network at all costs will help establish Jetour’s influence in Indonesia and prove to be a serious competitor in the local automobile market.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicles on the Fore

Jetour is not only concentrating on traditional cars but has very clear visions for an electrified future in Indonesia. It plans to accelerate the development and introduction of PHEV and BEV to respond to rising demand for less harmful options. This aligns with growing interest in sustainable solutions to automotive, especially when compared to the government’s policies, which continue to be very supportive of electric vehicle adoption.

Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus Features Specifications

The two models, Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus, are equipped with a 1,500cc, 4cylinders turbocharged engine, aimed to deliver 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Those engines are power-efficient and cater to all the needs for driving in both cities and highways.

Some of the premium features featured in the Jetour Dashing include a pan roof sunroof, 540-degree panoramic imaging, blind-spot monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). These will complement both driving pleasure and safety with added convenience to the driver and passengers in times of need.

Similarly, the Jetour X70 Plus used to be fitted with a 1,500cc 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with an equivalent power delivery. X70 Plus car is full of features and perfect for comfort and high-tech material in the vehicle to be cherished.

Warranty for Peace of Mind

To further dispel customers’ worries, Jetour offers a comprehensive warranty scheme for each model. The warranty of the engine will be for 10 years or 1 million kilometres travelled, whichever is the shorter of the two. This extra warranty adds a lot of appeal for Indonesian buyers who value long-life durability.

In addition, a complete warranty of up to 6 years without any mileage limit is offered to ensure the quality and satisfaction of customers. Such a comprehensive warranty package places Jetour in a better position than most of its competition in offering value-added services for its clients.
