The much-awaited Kia EV Day 2024 in the Asia Pacific region finally saw the shift of a giant step toward shaping the future of sustainable mobility by Kia Motors. It was on this day that three cutting-edge concept cars were unveiled to the world, including the Kia EV3, Kia EV4, and Kia PV5. Through this development, Kia demonstrates its commitment toward the electric vehicle revolution while not letting go of its customer-centric approach, underlined by environmental sustainability and innovative design.

The Kia EV Day 2024 From Kia Motors exciting previews of the future in its electric concepts. The three cars during the event will be some of the key outlining how the corporation is committed to delivering innovative, sustainable, and customer-centric solutions for a better future.

Kia EV3 – Compact EV SUV:
An all-new compact electric SUV, the Kia EV3 was engineered to meet the growing needs of more accessible and smaller electric vehicles. Available on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV3 embodies groundbreaking technologies pioneered from its higher-positioned counterpart, the flagship SUV EV9. The sporty design, inspired by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, sports a box rear panel and a low roofline sloping forward to create a new wave.
An Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control promises improved tractive and stability while driving the new Kia EV3. In addition, at full speed, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 brings forward collision mitigation. Safety is covered by a protective veneer of features that include Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Driving Assist 2, Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
Kia EV4 Concept:
Nature-Inspired Luxury Kia has come up with its all-new electric sedan, the Kia EV4 concept. Truly, it is a beauty, designed around Kia’s ‘Power to Progress’ design pillar-one that synthesizes natural aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. For those who have been eyeing a new, luxury-oriented seda n, here’s a modern, eco-friendly option from Kia to change the current mundane trysts and switches in cars. The idea revolves around the comfort and feel of the driver. It is more or less related to how Kia believes in sustainable mobility where it does not compromise with its luxury.
Kia PV5 Concept – Platform Beyond Vehicle:
The Kia PV5 Concept is a nonconformist take on traditional vehicles by introducing the concept of Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV). The Kia PV5 is an everyday, practical electric vehicle, with immense versatility, designed for flexible usage in the multitude of purposes like ride-hailing, logistics, or personal purposes. Kia imaged the PV5 as something more than a mere source of transportation, an open space with advanced software integration that would totally redefine the way people use a car in the future.
Kia’s pledge to sustainable mobility Kia Asia Pacific President and Chief Executive Officer Ki Seok Ahn emphasized the company’s continued effort in advancing electric mobility in the region during the event. “The first Kia EV Day in the Asia Pacific region testifies to sustainable mobility and our consistent commitment to continue advancing the electric vehicle revolution,” he said.
Kia also confirmed its intention to offer all-electric lineups at various price points to fit different customer needs. The company aims to add Hybrid EV and PBV models to cater to the diverse needs of customers while contributing to the transition to cleaner transportation for everyone around the world.
On the expansion front, Kia is undertaking an aggressive expansion strategy, with as many as six global EV production facilities set to be established by 2025, which would stabilize the production system and battery supply for its growing lineup of electric vehicles.
In terms of pricing and launch dates, Kia will launch the EV3 in several countries in the Asia Pacific by 2025, but it has yet to announce pricing for the EV4 and PV5, and this is something that will be finalized ahead of their launches.
